    Since 1988, having read Social Anthropology (LSE), Carol Watfa started as an International Music PR Consultant, became a mother, took a course in Sound Engineering and Stage Management then went on to become a Music Producer.

  • THE NILE FESTIVAL


  • The Nile Festival is an event which started in 2006. Its birth was conceived in a café in Port Said.

    The aim of the festival is to highlight inspiring music from all the nile countries and to accent topics
    such as ecological and environmental-related issues. The first Nile Festival was staged in April 2006
    at the Hammersmith Palais in London and featured El Tanbura from Port Said, Egypt, and Mahmoud
    Ahmed from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.


  • Radio 3 broadcast a one-hour live programme and the show had received rave reviews in the English press.
